  1. You need 4 slices of Vanjaram fish.

  2. Prepare 1 of Tamarind - lemon size.

  3. You need 2 of Onion.

  4. It’s 1 1/2 of Tomato.

  6. It’s 2 tsp of Sambar powder.

  7. Prepare 1/2 tsp of Turmeric powder.

  8. It’s 1 tsp of Mustad seeds.

  10. Prepare 1 handfull of Garlic.

  11. You need as per need of Salt.

  12. It’s as per need of Oil.

  13. Prepare as per need of Water.

  14. Prepare 1 sprig of Curry leaves.

Vanjiram meen kuzhambu instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan, season mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds. Add curry leaves,green chilli. Saute onions,garlic,tomatoes. Add little salt. Add turmeric powder and sambar powder. Mix well.

  2. Add little water.Allow it to boil. Add tamarind extract and add water. Add the remaining salt.Let it boil for 10 mins. Add the fish and cook for few mins..

I always like to add fried fish in my curry.

Raw mango in the recipe can be substituted with tamarind water.
