  2. You need of Egg.

  3. It’s of Scott bonnets.

  4. Prepare cube of Seasoning.

Yamarita,also known as Dun Dun Oniyeri, is simply thinly sliced Par-boiled/blanched yams dipped into whisked egg+flour& fried until crispy.

The difference between Yamarita and the common fried yams (dun dun) is the egg and flour mix, which takes this easy meal to another level.

It is so easy to prepare, that you can make it as a snack or quick meal.

Yamarita😋 instructions

  1. Peel the yam and wash the yam.

  2. Put in the pot and perboil.

  3. While perboiling your yam, put flour in a bowl and your eggs.

  4. Break your eggs and add your Scott bonnets, salt, onion,spices, and chilli pepper.

  5. Beat your eggs.

  6. Your yam must perboiled rightly…then drain the water and let it cool.

  7. After cooling….put your yam in the egg mixture.

  8. Then remove and put your yam in the flour.

  9. Then back in the egg.

  10. Then put in a tray or plate.

  11. Put your oil in a pan and leave to heat up.

  12. Add Scott bonnets and onion in the oil.

  13. Then fry for a while….put your yam in the oil to fry.

  14. Fry to desired look…then your yamarita is ready to be eaten.

Yamarita is a delicious twist on fried yam that is appropriate for any time of the day.

Yamarita is a great food that can be easily made.

It can be eaten as a finger food as well as main food.

Yamarita can be eaten as a snack with a spicy dip like the Green pepper sauce, ketchup and spicy mayonnaise or as a meal with tomato stew, egg stew, mackerel in tomato sauce and vegetable stew.
