  15. Prepare 1/2 tbsp of cumin powder.

  16. You need 2 cups of chopped tomato.

  17. Prepare to taste of Salt.

  18. It’s Handful of cashew nuts.

  19. Prepare 2 of and 1/2 cup water.

  20. You need 1 tbsp of sugar.

  21. Prepare of Few chopped coriander leaves for garnishing.

  23. Prepare 1 cup of paneer.

  24. Prepare 1 cup of boiled potato.

Malai Kofta Curry instructions

  1. For kofta…… Mash together paneer and boiled potatoes in a bowl, add chopped coriander leaves, chopped ginger, chopped green chilli, cornflour, salt, raisin, chopped cashew nuts, mix them well and shape into round balls or oblong.

  2. Heat oil and deep fry till golden brown on high flame, keep aside.

  3. For curry….. Heat oil and butter together in a pan, add cardamom, bay leaves, cinnamon, cloves and stir fry for few seconds.

  4. Now add chopped onions and cook for 5 minutes, add chopped garlic and ginger and cook add turmeric powder chilli powder, and add chopped tomato, salt and cashew nuts and cook.

  5. Add coriander powder, cumin powder and cook, add 2 and 1/2 cup of water and cover till tomatoes are mashy.

  6. Now remove from heat and let it cool for 15 minutes, now using a blender blend it into a fine puree and transfer it to a clean pan.

  7. Bring it to a boil and add sugar salt to taste, can add water if the curry is too thick, add cream, stir and remove from heat.

  8. Place the kofta in a bowl and pour the hot curry on top and garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve.
