  1. Clean and marinate the chicken overnight with curd, black pepper powder, mustard oil and papaya paste.

  2. Heat some oil in a pan and saute the marinated chicken in low flame.

  3. Heat another pan and add ghee into it.

  4. Add the whole Garam masala, bay leaves and Jeera into it. Once they crackle add the onions into it and saute.

  5. Once the onions turn golden add the ginger-garlic paste, tomato paste and saute again.

  6. Once the masala is cooked add the powder masalas- Jeera powder, chilli powder, Dhania powder, turmeric powder and salt as per taste.

  7. Once the masala is well cooked add the chicken fried earlier into this and mix well.

  8. Add little water and cook till chicken softens. Add Garam masala and remove.

  9. Serve hot with parathas.
