Ingredients of Fried omena

You need of Omena.

It’s 2 of onions.

Prepare 2 of tomatoes.

It’s of Oil.

Prepare of Hot water.

You need to taste of Salt.

It’s 1 of lemon.
A bunch of finely chopped coriander leaves.
Heat enough cooking oil in a pan and throw in chopped onions, then add the omena.
Add salt, tomatoes, tomato paste and whatever other spices you choose.
Add a little water to prevent them from sticking onto the pan.
Fried omena instructions

Wash the omena in hot water and drain..

Heat oil and dry them till all the water is dry..

Fry onions till brown add tomatoes then omena Fry and add salt to taste. When done add juice of one lemon and garnish with coriander..

You can enjoy with some greens and ugali..
Keep a check on the omena as they fry.
When you see them becoming a little hard, that's when you know they are ready.
