  1. You need of fine roasted sooji(semolina).

  2. You need of curd.

  3. Prepare of refined oil.

  4. You need of salt.

  5. Prepare of sugar to taste.

  8. You need of beans chopped into very small pieces.

  9. It’s of green peas.

Savory semolina cake instructions

  1. Pour roasted semolina in a bowl and add curd,the grated and chopped ingredients,salt and sugar to taste,turmeric,1 tbsp oil,baking powder and mix all with water to make a thick batter.Set aside for 10 minutes..

  2. Meanwhile add little oil in a wok and sprinkle mustard seeds.When they splutter,fry the curry leaves.Add it to the batter.Grease a micro safe round bowl with oil.Now add the Eno fruit salt to the batter.Mix thoroughly and pour the batter in the bowl.Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and bake for 5-7 minutes.Check with inserting a sharp knife.If it comes out clean then its done..

  3. Another option is to grease a cake pan with oil and bake at 350°in a pre-heated oven for 30 minutes approximately..

  4. Wait for sometime then turn over the cake on a plate.Cut into pieces and serve with salsa sauce or hot and sweet tomato sauce..

It is such a beautiful union of cardamom, rosewater, almond and pistachio.
