Firstely cook the dal and keep aside..take all ingredients 2 tbsp grated coconut,cumin,sesame,cloves,cinnamon,ginger,garlic,green chilli..grind it to a fine paste..take a pan heat a oil add cumin seeds,mustard seeds,asafatedia,curry leaves..saute for 1 min..add paste of all spices and saute for 2 min add tomato puree,maharastrain chutney,red chilli powder,salt as per your taste…saute it for 5 min on medium flame..make sure that oil must separate…

Take a cooked dal add turmeric powder,pinch of jaggery and 1 inch tamrind..make sure that dal is not thick it must be little watery…add the masala make a boil add Coriander leaves and grated coconut…finally the aamti is ready…
