  1. Take equal quantity of Daal and sugar for making halwa..

  2. Wipe clean dry Daal on a towel to clean it..

  3. Dry roast Daal in a heavy bottomed karahi..

  4. Switch off the flame when roasted aroma from Daal comes. Keep aside for 10 minutes to cool the Daal. After 10 minutes grind it in a mixer coarsely..

  5. Heat pure ghee in a karahi and fry cashew and almonds till golden brown. Remove it in a plate..

  6. Add one tb spoon semolina and one tb spoon gram flour and roast for 2 minutes. Now Add grinded Daal in it and keep stirring till oil leaves the karahi. Add all dry fruits and cardamom powder and stir..

  7. In a separate pan add one glass milk and one glass water with one bowl of sugar and boil it till sugar dissolves completely..

  8. Add this mixture in the roasted Daal karahi and keep stirring till all water milk mixture is absorbed in roasted Daal and oil leaves the karahi..

  9. Serve hot garnished with chopped dry fruits..
