How to Prepare Eating on a Dime Microwave chivda Delicious, fresh and tasty.

Microwave chivda. Add hing,turmeric powder and microwave for few seconds. Finally, add salt and sugar to the poha and mix well. Quick Microwave Chivda is now ready.

This is a mildly spiced savoury which is easy to make more so these days when the microwave oven has taken a key spot in everyone's kitchen.

Now since it is festival season, I had lots to prepare, so thought of making this quick microwave chivda to save time.

The outcome is really the same as you do with the traditional method plus you require less oil so it is healthier too.

You can cook Microwave chivda using 9 ingredients and 6 steps. Here is how you cook it.

Ingredients of Microwave chivda

  1. It’s 2 cup of Murmura.

  2. It’s 1 cup of Poha thin.

  3. You need 3-4 of Green chilli.

  4. It’s 1/2 tsp of Turmeric powder.

  5. It’s 1 tsp of Powdered sugar.

  6. You need 2-3 tsp of Oil.

  7. Prepare 1 tsp of Cumin seeds.

  8. Prepare 1 tbsp of Peanuts.

  9. It’s to taste of Salt.

Microwave Chivda Diwali - the festival of lights is here!

Diwali in the southern states of India is celebrated to mark the killing of Narakasur by Lord Krishna.

Everybody must be having very fond memories attached to this particular festival and so do I.

As my last two posts were sweets,i don't want to bore you all with another sweet recipe.

Microwave chivda instructions

  1. Heat oil in a microwave for 30 seconds.collect all the ingredients for the chivda..

  2. Add cumin seeds curry leaves green chilli and microwave for 1 minute.

  3. Add peanuts and microwave for 1 minute.

  4. Add poha,murmura and microwave for 2 minutes.

  5. Add powdered sugar salt and turmeric powder and microwave for a minute.

  6. Yummy chivda is ready.

So here comes an easy,low fat,crunchy cornflakes mixture/chivda or namkeen recipe using microwave.

I should have tried and posted this during Diwali but i din't.

Last week my in laws were with me.

We all have a habit of munching some savouries immediately after lunch.
