Ingredients of Instant Ragi Dosa / Finger Millet Crepe

  1. You need of ragi /nachni flour.

  2. You need of rice flour.

  3. You need of green chillies chopped finely.

  4. Prepare of Finely chopped coriander.

  5. You need of Salt.

Instant ragi dosa recipe using ragi flour and rice flour.

This is my go to recipe whenever I run out of dosa batter.

This comes out nice crispy and tasty, I love it so much.

Amma makes another version by grinding urad dal will post that version also soon but this is a instant version just mix and make dosas.

Instant Ragi Dosa / Finger Millet Crepe step by step

  1. In a wide mixing bowl, add ragi flour, rice flour and enough water to make a lump free batter. Batter should be thinner than dosa batter..

  2. Add the green chilies, coriander, salt and mix well..

  3. Heat a tawa, and pour the batter from outside to inside like how we do for rava dosa. Drizzle oil and cook well until crisp..

  4. Carefully flip over to the other side and cook for 30 -40 sec.

  5. Slowly fold the dosa and serve with chutney or Sambhar..

In a large bowl, mix together the ragi flour, rice flour, chopped onions, coriander leaves, chilli , yoghurt and water.

Try not too make too thick or too watery a mixture.

THis dosa is not spread out like a regular dosa, but it poured onto a really hot tawa and has a hole-y appearance like Rawa Dosa.
