It consists of a pita bread, the popular bread from the Middle East, stuffed with a preparation of ground beef, onions, bell peppers and parsley.

This mixture is flavored with spices such as cumin and paprika and it may also contain chili.

  2. Prepare of Pita bread.

  3. It’s of big onion.

  4. It’s of bell pepper.

  5. Prepare of parsley.

  7. Prepare of Baharat.

  8. Prepare of paprika.

  9. Prepare of cumin.

  10. You need of Pepper and salt.

This flatbread is topped with the meat stuffing and then baked in an oven.

Hawawshi is similar in taste to Lebanese Lahmajun.

Egyptian Hawawshi instructions

  1. Cut the onion into small pieces.. get a clean cloth and remove the juice from the onion ๐Ÿง….

  2. Cut the bell pepper and parsley into small pieces.

  3. Mix all vegtables and spices into the coriner beef..

  4. Cut the pita bread into half.. and put the mixed ground beef inside the pita bread and spread it until inside is covered..

  5. As you done filling all the pita bread spread some olive oil outside, all over the bread.

  6. Preheat your over to 180c and cook it for about 30-45 mins until it was golden brown..

Lahmajun is a minced meat pizza, whereas hawawshi is minced meat stuffed into a pita.

Add the flour, salt, black pepper, and oil together.
