Millet flour (bajra) halwa. When halwa gets thick add cashews, raisins, chopped cashews and cardamom powder. Luscious millet flour halwa is ready, take it out in a bowl. Pour some ghee over the halwa and garnish with chopped cashews.

This is an easy recipe that requires only a few ingredients.

I have used homemade multi millet flour to prepare halwa.

Replace multi millet flour with individual millets flour like ragi, kambu, thinai, varagu, etc.

  1. You need 1 cup of bajre ka aata.

  2. Prepare 6-7 tbsp of grated gud (Jaggery).

  3. Prepare 2-3 tbsp of ghee.

  4. It’s 3/4 cup of water.

  5. It’s as needed of few almonds chopped.

  6. It’s 1/2 tsp of Thodi si pisi hui elaichi.

Ragi halwa recipe - Ragi or red millet is one of the most used grain in my home.

We make ragi mudde, ragi rotti, ragi dosa, ragi idli and most commonly ragi porridge and ladoos.

  1. Non stick pan mein ghee garam kijiye..

  2. Aata add kar ke slow flame pe roast kijiye..

  3. Ek dusre pan mein gud aur water ko boil kijiye..

  4. Gud wala water aate mein dal kar ache se cook kijiye..

  5. Pisi hui elaichi powder mix kijiye..

  6. Garnish with almonds..

  7. Serve hot..
