Rajmachana with Jeera rice and raita. On such days, a quick fried rice saves my day! Jeera rice/cumin flavored rice is a quintessential rice dish loved by all! Normally, it is served with just some yogurt on the side or any side dish curry like chole, rajma, mushroom tikka masala, paneer masala etc.

This masala raita as the name suggests have some spice powders apart from onions and coriander leaves. adding onions are optional in the raita.

We like onions in raita, as it gives a nice crunch to the raita.

  1. It’s of Rajma.

  2. It’s of black chana.

  3. You need of onions.

  4. It’s of tomatoes.

  5. Prepare of green chillies.

  8. You need of garam masala.

  9. Prepare of rajma masala powder.

I always prepare curd a night before, for making any curd based dishes like raita or curd rice.

Rajmachana with Jeera rice and raita instructions

  1. Soak Rajma and chana fr 3/ 4 hrs and warm water than boil and a cooker put little salt and fr 4/ 5 whistle.

  2. In a pan put oil thn put grated onions stir fr few minutes and thn put ggpaste green chillies and thn put little red chilli powder and tgn put tomatoes puree and stirring till it becomes pinkish brown thn put all Masala including boil rajma chana and cook fr 10 mins.

  3. Lastly put cream and garam masala powder and rajma masala and granish with coriander leaves.

  4. Serve hot with Jeera rice and raitha and roasted papad and it taste yummy.

Soak basmati rice for approximately half an hour.

Take a pan and add the ghee to it.

Put in the jeera ( cumin seeds ).

Add the water and cover and cook till done.

Serve with chicken curry or spicy vegetable gravy and raita.
