  1. Take a cup of cleaned China dal and soak in water for 30 minutes.

Cut the raw papaya and potato in 1 n1/2 " size.

On a pressure cooker take the soaked dal, chopped papaya, potatoes, turmeric powder. Cook in high flame for 1 whistle. Allow the pressure cooker to cool naturally..

  1. In a kadhai heat oil and add pancha phutan. Let them crackle. Add chopped onion,green chilli and saute till translucent.

Then tomatoes,ginger garlic, 1tbsp water and salt. Cook till tomatoes are soft and mushy..

Mix the boiled dal and veggies to the cooked masala in kadhi and mix well. Cover and cook for 2 minutes..
