Oats fish kabab. Dhokla is known to be a pretty healthy dish. However, this dhokla is super-delicious and healthier than any other dhokla recipe. This dhokla is made from a batter of oats, gram flour, ginger and curd and salt.

Tuna, sardines and of course salmon, the options are endless.

These salmon patties are imho the most delicious and easy way to use canned fish.

It is my version of a traditional shami kebab made with canned salmon instead of meat.

Ingredients of Oats fish kabab

  1. It’s 250 grams of rohu fish.

  2. Prepare 2 of medium sized onion finely chopped.

  3. It’s 2 tsp of chopped ginger.

  4. Prepare 3 of finely chopped green chilli.

  5. It’s 1 tsp of fish kabab masala powder.

  6. It’s 1 tsp of black pepper powder.

  7. You need 1 of egg.

  8. You need To taste of salt.

  9. It’s Handful of finely chopped green coriander leaves.

  10. Prepare 2 tbsp of cornflour.

  11. You need as needed of Cooking oil.

  12. It’s 1 tbsp of lemon juice.

  13. You need 1 tsp of turmeric powder.

  14. You need 1 tsp of red chilli powder.

  15. You need 1 small bowl of oats.

  16. You need 1 of egg.

With oats, turmeric and veggies this dish makes.

Oats and Vegetable Kebab Recipe is not just made healthy by adding oats but the other ingredients like yam and raw banana are added up to the nutritional value in the dish.

The kebab then enriched with various other Indian masala to get into the authentic flavors.

Oats is also a good way to use it as a binding agent and also to provide and crispy layer to kebabs or cutlets.

Oats fish kabab instructions

  1. Firstly in a bowl take fish pieces now properly wash it..

  2. Then add 1tsp turmeric powder, 1tsp red chilli powder to taste salt mix it well..

  3. Now steam it for 10 min on lower flame..

  4. Now take out the plate then remove it stings and properly mash it..

  5. Now add chopped onion, ginger, green chilli, black pepper powder, fish kabab masala, lemon juice, some salt, corn flour now properly mix it combined together.

  6. Now break the egg in the bowl and add salt to it and mix it well.

  7. Now in a plate take oats keep it aside.

  8. Now take a handful mixture then make a chaap shape now pour the egg batter.

  9. Now lightly coated with oats..

  10. Now turn on the frying pan gress with some oil then place it on and shallow fry it until becomes nice golden brown colour.

  11. Now serve hot with green chutney or any types of chutney.

Meanwhile clean, core and cut your veggies.

Preheat broiler and place the kabobs on a broiler pan.
