  1. Pressure cook by adding all ingredients and soaked dal add water just dip and one inch level water. After one whistle slow the heat and keep it 10-15 minutes.

  2. When steam automatically gone then open it and little mash with the ladle and if it is thick add warm water and as u like the consistency.

  3. Make tadka with cumin seeds green chilli, onion and tomato sauté one by one.

  4. Add tadka in the dal and garnish with butter.

  5. Krela pickle (bitter gourd).

  6. Cut the 1/2 kg krela in roun pieces mix 1 tsp salt and leave it for one hour.

  7. Now squeeze krela and fry krela in hot oil till golden colour and sliced 2 onion and also little fry in oil.

  8. Now take one tbs oil add 1tsp each ginger garlic chopped each and put fry krela and onion add 1tsp salt, 1tsp turmeric and 2 tsp pickle masala and 2 tbs vinegar and mix well.

  9. When cool store in a dry jar and enjoy with lunch and dinner it’s life is only 4-5 days.

This is very easy to prepare and is a great side dish for both chapati and rice.
