Recipe: at dinner Pancake Base Delicious, fresh and tasty.

Pancake Base. This is an excellent Buttermilk Pancake all on its own but it is great base for all types of pancakes like Blueberries, Bananas, Apples, Strawberry and Nuts, or what ever you like be creative. Whether I am mixing up a healthy pancake batter, grabbing a healthy muffin on the go, or warming up an egg cup, I make sure I always have healthy breakfast options on hand! This griddle is unique in the sense that it is a double-burner griddle, which means it can sit on both of your burners at the same time, but keeping the heat spread out evenly across its surface.

From classic butter and syrup to adding in fruit or chocolate, these pancakes are amazingly delicious.

Your family will be raving how good they are!

Spices: This is the perfect base to add spices.

If you want, mix up the dry ingredients in advance and give it away as a gift (with instructions on how to finish making the pancakes) or just store it for even quicker pancakes.

Pancake Base step by step

  1. Place 3 heaped teaspoons of plain flour into a jug..

  2. Add 2 eggs into the mix.

  3. Fill the jug with milk to 3/4 of the way up..

  4. Whisk the mixture together making sure there are no air bubbles and is smooth.

  5. Prepare a frying pan with olive oil (or oil of your choice) and pour the mixture into the pan.

  6. Keep a watch as the mixture forms and flip it over when possible..

  7. Keep checking how cooked the Pancake is to your desired preference and serve on a plate when ready..

Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.

Coat with vegetable oil or cooking spray.

When bubbles appear on top of the pancakes, flip, and cook until browned on the other side.

The pancakes were fluffy, and mouth watering, and tasty, and soft.

The only change I made was adding an extra quarter of a cup of milk because I like the pancakes to be a little thinner and when I mixed the batter up I saw they'd be too thick.
