First in a bowl add rice and dal mix and wash it..

Now soak it for 5 to 6 hours..

After 6 hours remove the water, now transfer into the jar and make smooth batter..

Now, wait for 8 hr so that it is fermented..

After the fermentation is completed add baking soda and salt in the mixture..

Now heat the steamer and grease the mould then put on the batter, now steam for 10 mins on low flame..

Now remove on the plates..

Take dal wash it, now take a cooker add dal and water as per required, half tbsp turmeric powder, half tbsp salt close the lid and turn on the flame cook up to 4 whistles..

Now heat the frying pan add some oil then add mustard seeds, fenugreek, dry red chilli, some fresh curry patta, green chilli tempered it then add chopped onion stir it translucent then add lauki, sambhar masala, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, tomatoes mix properly on lower flame..

Now add tamarind pulp, cooked dal and coconut milk mix properly now cover and cook for 5 to 10 mins on lower flame..
