Recipe: Yummy Persian style meatballs spaghetti

Recipe: Yummy Persian style meatballs spaghetti Delicious, fresh and tasty.
Persian style meatballs spaghetti. When you think of meatballs, you probably think of golf-ball sized Italian meatballs on top of enormous pile of spaghetti. Persian meatballs are not small, but more like the size of an orange or softball. And tucked inside each meatball is about a tablespoon of naturally sweet raisins or even a pitted date.
Serve with flatbreads and yogurt or over a green salad.
If you go the salad route, include some fresh herbs and pomegranate molasses to match the meatballs.
Recipe Notes: Be generous with the turmeric.

Ingredients.
Today I'm sharing a delicious recipe for Persian Meatballs (Koofteh Rizeh, or Kufteh Rizeh in Farsi, and Riza Kufta in Azeri).
Koofteh means meatball and Rizeh is small in Farsi.
Rizeh Koofteh can very well be an everyday meal served with bread, but it is also a wonderful finger food for entertaining a hungry bunch over the weekend or any occasion.
Add chopped onion to the pan and saute until soft.
Mix in diced bell pepper and saute until tender.
