Grapes Raita. Stir in grapes, cumin, sugar, and pepper. Any raita is a combination of yogurt and the other main ingredient, for instance, grapes in case of grapes raita. The other ingredients include rock/black salt, sugar, roasted cumin seeds powder, etc.

The red chili powder gives a lick to your palate initially and then the sweetness soothes it all.

I often make this grape raita in summers and team up with my afternoon meals.

  1. You need 1 bowl of curd(sweet).

  2. It’s 1/2 bowl of green grapes.

  3. It’s to taste of salt.

  4. It’s Pinch of red chilli powder.

  5. Prepare 1/4 tsp of cumin powder.

  6. You need 1/4 tsp of chat masala.

Serve this cooling yogurt concoction with anything from plain rice to spicy curries, or with salad, relish or as a dip.

This recipe, I have made yogurt raita with fresh sweet seedless black grapes.

This is a simple, no fuss raita.

Gets done in minutes and tastes best when served chilled.
