  1. You need of unripe plantain (4 fingers).

  2. It’s of crayfish 2 tbs(blended).

  3. Prepare of medium sized onions (diced).

  4. It’s of medium sized fresh pepper (blended or diced).

  5. You need of dry fish(1 big one).

  6. Prepare of knorr cubes.

  7. It’s of scent leaves (a handful).

  8. Prepare of palm oil (half cup).

  9. It’s of periwinkle (optional).

  10. You need of salt(to taste).

Pour the water in a pot and boil.

Peel plantain, wash and slice in cubes or as desired.

Plantain Porridge recipe: Method: Blend the green plantain with water until it is liquid.

Once boil to, add the green plantain liquid.

  1. Wash,peel and dice plantains in a bowl and set aside.

  2. In a medium sized pot,add water,enough to cook the plantain and allow to boil.

  3. Pour the diced plantain into the pot of boiling water,cook for like 10 mins.

  4. Add pepper,crayfish,2 knorr cubes, onions,scent leaves, dry fish, periwinkles,salt and palm oil without stirring and cook for 10 mins or till the plantain is soft.

  5. Stir and then simmer under low heat for like 2 mins.

  6. Its ready to be served.

Now put your stove on low.

While the plantain porridge is simmering, stir it in until it is creamy.
