Recipe: Delicious Chop Masala Delicious, fresh and tasty.

Chop Masala. Chop Masala is a tempting gravy for all veg and non-veg lovers. It's tender and juicy, as it is a mixer of onion and tomatoes hot spicy and masala makes you crave for more. Enjoy this curry with your yummy biryani, roti or paratha.

Mix with a handful of sliced onions, turmeric and salt.

Add the masala paste and fry till brown.

Apply Shan Fried Chops Mix on the chops/fillets.

You can have Chop Masala using 12 ingredients and 11 steps. Here is how you achieve that.

Ingredients of Chop Masala

  1. Prepare of Mutton chops.

  2. You need of medium sized Onions (cut into thin slices).

  3. You need of Ginger Garlic paste.

  4. It’s of Green chili paste.

  5. It’s of turmeric powder.

  6. It’s of Cumin powder.

  7. Prepare of coriander powder.

  8. You need of garam masala.

  9. You need of to 2 tsp red chili powder(depend how much your green chili is spicy).

  10. Prepare of Yogurt (I used my yesterday’s zeera Raita).

  11. It’s of Salt.

  12. It’s of Oil.

Heat oil/ghee and add the chops.

Then tightly cover the pot and cook on very low heat for.

Add the garam masala and lemon juice and stir.

Sprinkle fresh coriander over the top and serve.

Chop Masala step by step

  1. Cut Onions into thin slices and clean and wash your chops properly.

  2. Take a pot, pour oil and make it hot. Add onions and fry.

  3. In the mean while, my green chilies are getting spoiled so I have just made a paste. I have taken it out 3 Tbs from there and rest I stored..

  4. In the same time, onions becomes soft and turn into golden. Add chops.

  5. Add ginger garlic paste and turmeric powder.

  6. Followed by coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder and garam masala.

  7. With all spices and salt add yogurt also.

  8. Start frying chops with all spices in oil, at least for 5 mins.

  9. Add hot water and leave on medium flame..

  10. Once the meat gets tender and soft, fry some more in oil. The cover and leave it for 10 mins..

  11. Serve with any kind of rice. I served with herb rice, salad and raita.

In the Punjab, tomatoes are grated to make a puree.
