  4. Prepare of medium sized onion, finely chopped.

Paneer bhurji curry step by step

  1. Firstly, in a large kadai heat oil and saute cumin seeds till they turn aromatic..

  2. Further add onions, and ginger-garlic pieces..

  3. Saute well till the onions turn slightly golden brown..

  4. Now add tomatoes and saute till they turn soft and mushy..

  5. Then add green chilli and cook for a while..

  6. Additionally, add spices and salt to taste..

  7. Roast the spices on low flame for a minute..

  8. Let it cool down. Blend the gravy..

  9. Heat oil in kadai, add onions and cook till its brownish. Add the paste.

  10. In the gravy add add crumbled paneer / cottage cheese and mix gently..

  11. Mix gently without mashing out paneer..

  12. Cover and simmer for 3 minutes till the paneer.

  13. Mix gently, making sure everything is combined well..

  14. Finally, serve paneer bhurji hot with chapathi or paratha..
