Tawa fried fish. I have so many fried fish recipe in my blog. Each time i make them quite differently. This is one recipe which i made recently and loved the combination of it.

Restaurant style tawa fish fry is an easy and crispy fry, which you can make as a quick and healthy shallow tawa fry.

I used mackerel fish for this recipe.

Mackerel or bangda or ayala is one of the tastiest and healthiest fishes available in India.

You can cook Tawa fried fish using 15 ingredients and 6 steps. Here is how you achieve that.

Ingredients of Tawa fried fish

  1. It’s 5 pieces of or half kg fish pieces.

  2. You need 1 teaspoon of salt.

  3. Prepare half of tsp blk pepper (freshly ground).

  4. It’s half of teaspoon red chilli powder.

  5. Prepare 1 teaspoon of crushed ted chilli.

  6. It’s 1 of tabsp coriander powder.

  7. You need half of teaspoon cumin coarsly ground.

  8. You need 1 teaspoon of roasted crushed qasoori methi(fungreek dry leaves).

  9. It’s half of teaspoon carrom seed(ajwain).

  10. You need 2 tablespoon of gram flour(basen).

  11. Prepare 1/3 tsp of haldi (optional).

  12. It’s 1 of lemon juice.

  13. Prepare 1 teaspoon of ginger paste.

  14. You need 1 teaspoon of garlic paste.

  15. You need of oil for frying.

This fish is easy to clean and easy to eat even for kids.

  1. Take a tawa..

  2. Prepare all ingredients.to remove fish smell add some salt and carom seed.also add 6 cloves of garlic crushed and make a paste mix in half cup of water.coat all fish pieces.rest for 1 hour then wash..

  3. Marinate fish with all spices,gram flour ginger garlic paste and lemon juice.marinate for 2 to 4 hours in refrigrater.

  4. Heat tawa add 2 to 3 tabsp oil.add 5 pieces of fish on tawa.cook for 5 to 6 minutes to 1 side..

  5. Flip all fish pieces.cook for 5 minutes from other side..

  6. When cook well and have a nice golden colour.remove from tawa serve hot with imli podina chutney..

It is shallow fry over gas stove using a tawa or non stick pan.
