To start cleaning your refrigerator, empty all the items and placing them on a counter or table while you clean.

Take out the shelving, drawers and any other removable parts.

Fridge Clean Out Nachos step by step

  1. Cook your refried beans in a small saucepan on the stove top over medium heat. Stirring occasionally..

  2. Meanwhile, Spread any leftover tortilla crumbs and chip pieces, that are too small to scoop or dip, so they are flat and even on a plate..

  3. Next, chop your veggies and tomatoes. Whatever you have leftover works! I had tomatoes and green onion. You could also use peppers, cilantro, other kinds of onions, or whatever you prefer!.

  4. When the refried beans are done spread them evenly on top of the tortilla chips. Follow with shredded cheese of whatever kind you have and your toppings!.

  5. Microwave on high, uncovered, for 45-60 seconds until your cheese is melted. Add some salsa or hot sauce on top if you have it and/or desire, (I did😁) Grab a fork, and Enjoy!.

From the fridge I pulled out an avocado, some leftover red cabbage, cilantro, and vegan mayo.

All that was left was to buy the tortillas and limes.

Simple, and much better than wasting perfectly good food..

Fridge drawers, shelves, and racks are removable, and they'll be much easier to clean if they're out of the refrigerator.

To keep these items out of the way, place them on the counter or on top of the fridge until you're ready to tackle them; try to stay organised and separate the ones you have cleaned by putting them back in the fridge.
