It’s 500 gm of Ilish fish/Hilsa ilisha.

You need 2 tbsp of Black and yellow mustared paste.

Cut the banana leaf in square shape and each leaf about 20cm*50cm..

In a mixing bowl add fish,mustared paste,khus khus paste,green chilli paste, 2 tbsp mutared oil and salt and ternmeric and mix it well..

On low heat gently toast the sheet and the mustared paste centerd on the banana leaf and the marinated fish on it..

Carefully fold the banana leaf and wrap the fish complitly and tie with a cotton string..

Heat remain oil in a pan and place the paturi side by side..

Cover and steam on low heat atlist 5 min..

Turn over and cover and cook the other side too..

Served hot with boiled rice..
