Recipe: Perfect Egg puff Delicious, fresh and tasty.

Egg puff. In another bowl, combine eggs and cheeses. Melt remaining butter; add to egg mixture. Stir into dry ingredients along with mushroom mixture.

Whisk together the eggs, then add the cheese.

Combine the flour, baking powder and salt and pepper and whisk into the egg mixture.

To give an extra favor to this snack, a layer of spiced onions is added.

You can have Egg puff using 13 ingredients and 8 steps. Here is how you cook it.

Ingredients of Egg puff

  1. It’s 4-6 of nos pastry sheets Puff / squares -.

  2. Prepare 2-3 of nos eggs Hard boiled.

  3. It’s 1.5 cups of Onion - sliced -.

  4. You need 1 tsp of Ginger garlic and - finely chopped.

  5. Prepare 1 tsp of Curry leaves - chopped -.

  6. You need 1 tsp of Kashmiri chili powder -.

  7. You need 1/2 tsp of Black pepper powder - (or to taste).

  8. It’s 1/4 tsp of Turmeric powder.

  9. You need 1/2 tsp of Garam masala -.

  10. You need 1-2 of tsps Tomato kechup -.

  11. You need to taste of Salt -.

  12. Prepare of as required Oil -.

  13. Prepare 1 of Egg small (beaten)-.

To make that you need onions, tomato paste, chili powder and garam masala.

This recipe needs a little pre-planning.

So start with thawing the puff pastry sheet according to package instruction.

Egg puff step by step

  1. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.Keep aside.Preheat oven to 190 deg C..

  2. Heat oil in a pan,add onion,ginger,garlic and curry leaves.Saute until onion turns golden brown.(add salt to speed up the process).

  3. Reduce heat to low, add kashmiri chili powder,black pepper powder,turmeric powder and garam masala.Cook for a minute or two,stirring continuously.Add more salt if required.

  4. Add tomato sauce and mix well.Allow this to cool slightly.Divide this equally into 4 or 6 (depending upon how spicy you like it..

  5. Spoon the prepared masala to the center of the pastry square,and place one half of a hard boiled egg on the top..

  6. Fold all the corners to the center,gently press with your finger to seal.

  7. Brush the top with egg wash.Repeat the steps for all the puffs pastry squares..

  8. Place the puffs on the prepared baking tray and bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until it turns golden brown..

Homemade puff pastry is filled with egg masala and baked and the best part is you can make homemade puffs when you have that craving for puffs.
