  2. You need 1/2 cup of Coconutgrated.

  3. You need 4 Numbers of Green chilli.

  4. Prepare 12 numbers of Shallot.

  5. It’s 1 teaspoon of Mustard.

  6. It’s 6 numbers of Red chilli.

  7. Prepare to taste of Curry leaves.

  8. Prepare 2 tablespoons of Oil.

Mashed Tapioca-Cassava-Yuca Recipe: Clean tapioca /kappa and chop into small cubes.

Pour enough water to the cleaned tapioca so that all the pieces will be immersed completely,cook uncovered and allow to boil.

  1. Clean tapioca and cook well. Add salt and turmeric powder while cooking.

  2. Mash the cooked tapioca and keep aside.

  3. Coarsely grind grated coconut, green chilli and shallots.

  4. Heat oil in a pan.Add mustard, red chillies and curry leaves… Once sputters add mashed tapioca and coconut mixture.

  5. Mix well and cook for 5 minutes.

  6. For mulaku chammanthi….grind onion and red chilli well. Add oil and salt to taste.

When the water boils,remove and drain the water and again add the same amount of water, salt,turmeric powder and cook till it turns to. kappa Puzhukku/ Mashed Tapioca Kerala Style is an authentic Tapioca recipe.
