Ingredients of Egg puffs

  1. You need 2 cups of maida(all-purpose flour).

To give an extra favor to this snack, a layer of spiced onions is added.

Egg puffs instructions

  1. Mix 50 grams of butter, salt to in to the maida flour,adding little water prepare tight dough, keep aside.

  2. Heat a pan add a tbsp of oil, add sliced onions let it get soft now add chopped tomato, add garam masala, chilli powder and turmeric powder, salt according to taste.mix well cook untill the mixture gets little soft..

  3. Now roll that in to thick layer in to ovel shape, apply butter generously fold that in to rectangular shape, put it in a zip lock cover and keep it in the fridge for 30 min.

  4. Take out the dough again roll out repeat the same process and keep it in fridge for 10 minutes..

  5. You need to do this process 3 times at least..

  6. After 3 times, take out the dough, roll out in a thick layer and cut into small squares, put onion masala in the middle of each square piece, place half egg on the top of the onion masala of each square, cover both sides by sticking together by applying little water..

  7. Now shift them in to baking tray put it in to preheated oven on 220 c bake for 20-25 minutes…

  8. Your tasty crispy flaky homemade puffs are ready to serve with tomato sauce..

To make that you need onions, tomato paste, chili powder and garam masala.

This recipe needs a little pre-planning.

So start with thawing the puff pastry sheet according to package instruction.
