Easiest Way to Fall Appetizing Punjabi Curry pakoda Delicious, fresh and tasty.
Punjabi Curry pakoda. Mix pakora ingredients (besan, cumin seeds, onions, green chilli, ginger, turmeric, garam masala, red chilli powder, fennel seed, and salt) in a bowl until smooth. Add enough water to make a very thick batter. Fry mixture by tablespoonfuls in hot oil until golden and crispy, then drain on paper toweling.
Kadhi pakora is often made at our home, but I just could not manage myself to take step by step photos and thats why it took me so long to share this delicious Punjabi kadhi recipe.
We love kadhis, be it plain or with pakoras.
At home we call it kadhi chawal, because the kadhi is had with plain rice or jeera rice. you can also have kadhi with roti but I always prefer to have kadhi with rice.

Prepare 1 cup of besan (gram flour).

Punjabi Kadhi Pakora Recipe is spiced up yogurt based curry cooked along with spiced gram flour dumplings.
It is a classic dish from North India and Punjab where the yogurt is simmered along with chillies, ginger and coriander and delicious pan fried dumplings (pakora).
At home, we serve the Kadhi Pakora most often along with hot Steamed Rice or Tawa Paratha accompanied along with Baingan.
Punjabi Kadhi is a soupy curry with lots of pakoras in it, and is finished off with a karhi patta tadka.

For pakoda, in a mixing bowl add all the thing for pakoda ingredients. Add water make it pouring consistency.Heat oil in a kadai with help of two spoons fry all pakoda, keep aside..

Now in a deep bowl mix curd, besan and all dry masala, onion, ginger & garlic& 1 cup water. Heat kadai put little oil add whole methi & jeera seeds pinch of hing stir it. Now pour curd mixer. Stir little while. Let it cook in slow flame for5 -6mins..

Now take one serving bowl place pakoda & pour curd mixer. Now heat one small pan put deshi ghee turn off flame add little red mirchi powder. Pour ghee mixer over curry pakoda. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves..
It's like a Pakistani dumpling soup, but of course with a very different flavour profile.
