Malai Kofta step by step

  1. Mash boil potatoes, add salt, red chilli powder, cumin powder..

  3. In a plate crumble paneer add rest of the filling ingredients and mix and keep aside.

  4. In a plate take corn flour, now pinch a small amount of potato mixture make a hole in between place a ball of paneer filling and close the ball nicely and roll in corn flour, dust the extra flour and keep aside. Repeat for rest of the mixture.

  5. Once done, heat oil in kadai and fry 3-4 koftas at a time on medium flame and drain excess oil and keep aside koftas are ready.

  6. For the gravy, heat a kadai, add 1 tablespoon oil, now add all the garam masala, once it splutter add sliced onions, let them be tender and cooked..

  7. Once done add ginger garlic and let them cook, now add chopped tomatoes, cashew and some salt, cover and cook till tomatoes are tender..

  8. Once done allow the mixture to cool down once cool blend the mixture really fine.

  9. In a kadai heat remaining oil and butter, add kashmiri red chilli powder now add the blended mixture, the mixture will be nice red colour, simmer the gas, and cook the mixture till oil separates from the sides.

  10. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, half Kitchen king masala add now and mix nicely..

  11. Now add 1 teaspoon sugar, add half the cream and mix, add some water to adjust the consistency as you want..

  12. Before serving add koftas to the curry cost the koftas with curry and add crushed kasuri methi, remaining kitchen king masala..
