Ingredients of Chole puri

  1. Prepare of chick pea.

  2. You need of big onions.

  3. Prepare of big tomatoes.

  4. You need of ginger.

  5. Prepare of garlic.

  6. Prepare of green chillies.

  7. Prepare of garam masala.

  8. It’s of chole masala.

  9. It’s of chilli powder.

  10. Prepare of Water for boiling.

Make big balls out of the dough and roll into thick big pooris, and fry them in oil.

Soak chana dal overnight and pressure cook with salt.

Grind onion, ginger, and garlic to a fine paste.

In Tamil Nadu, Chola poori is a very popular lunch/dinner dish in restaurants.

Chole puri step by step

  1. Soak chick pea for overnight. In morning take cooker add chick pea, water, tea powder bag and salt & give 5/6 whistle. Let it cool and drain the water and tea bag.(make a tea powder potli in cotton cloth).

  2. Take a mixer jar put chopped onions, tomatoes, garlic, ginger green chilli and make a smooth paste..

  3. For tempering take a pan and heat it. Take oil and then add this paste in it. Cook it for 10 minutes and add garam masala, kitchen king, cholle masala and red chilli powder. Mix it well add coriander powder..

  4. Let it cook for 2 minutes. Now its ready to serve with puri..

Usually, it is served with channa masala.
