Corn Pakora or 'Bhutte Ke Pakode' is a simple yet delightfully crispy corn fritter cooked with chickpea flour and rice flour, and is an ideal tea-time snack.

It is crispy and crunchy from the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside.

Corn Pakoda recipe is made with steamed corn, onions, and a combination of seasonings.

You can cook Corn pakoda using 12 ingredients and 2 steps. Here is how you achieve it.

Ingredients of Corn pakoda

  1. It’s 1 kg of Corn.

  2. Prepare 1 cup of besan (gram flour).

  3. You need 1 tsp of Ajwain (carom seeds).

  4. Prepare 1-2 tbsp of Green chilies & ginger paste.

  5. Prepare 1 tbsp of Red chilli powder.

  6. You need To taste of Salt.

  7. It’s 1 tbsp of cumin seeds.

  8. Prepare leaves of Coriander leaves.

  9. Prepare 1 of Onion (optional).

  10. It’s 1 pinch of Asafoetida.

  11. It’s 1 tbsp of fennel seeds.

  12. You need as needed of Oil for frying.

For making corn pakoda, I have used american sweet corns.

But you can use Indian desi corn aka makai or bhutta.

You can also use canned corn kernels.

I bought a whole bunch of corns from Costco.
