Chop the onions to thin slices.Transfer it to a wide bowl..

Sprinkle required salt evenly on the onion and slowly separate the layers.Leave it for 3 to 4 minutes.So that onions leave the moisture..

Now add turmeric powder,red chilli powder, 2 tsp of grinded dhania-ajwain powder and coriander leaves.Mix well..

Now add besan,rice flour.Mix well to coat the onions with flour.Sprinkle water each time and mix the flour to make a moist thick dough. Here I needed around 4 to 5 tbsp water.The dough must be tight..

Heat oil in a kadai for deep frying pakoda.Check if the oil is hot,drop a tiny piece of dough in oil if it rise then oil is hot enough for making pakodas..

In hot oil carefully drop the dough in an evenly spread manner.Dont put like small thick round balls..

Fry them till golden colour on both sides.Transfer them on an absorbent tissue paper placed on a stainer..
