Made in South Indian style, these are very flavorful and the entire house fills with an exciting aroma. Ingredients of Gobi Pakoda

  1. It’s 1 cup of chopped cauliflower florets.

  2. You need 1/2 tsp of black pepper powder.

  3. Prepare 1/2 tsp of cumin powder.

  4. Prepare 1/2 tsp of coriander powder.

  5. You need 1/4 tsp of red chilli powder.

  6. Prepare 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder.

  7. It’s 1/4 tsp of garam masala powder.

  8. Prepare 1/2 tsp of kasuri methi.

  9. Prepare 1/4 tsp of carom seeds (ajwain).

  10. You need 1/2 tbsp of coriander leaves paste.

  11. Prepare 1/2 tsp of green chilli paste.

  12. It’s 1/2 tsp of ginger paste.

  13. Prepare 1/2 tsp of garlic paste.

  14. You need 2 tbsp of gram flour/chickpea flour (besan).

  15. Prepare 1 tbsp of cornflour.

  16. It’s 1 tbsp of rice flour.

  17. Prepare 1 tsp of lemon juice.

  18. You need to taste of salt.

  19. It’s as needed of vegetable oil to fry the pakodas.

The vegetable used in Gobi pakoda is Cauliflower.

Gobi pakoda have a pleasant taste with the flavour of cauliflower.

Gobi Pakoda step by step

  1. Boil the cauliflower florets in salted water for 3-4 minutes.

  2. Then remove the florets from the water, rinse them well with tap water, squeeze all the excess water from the florets and then take them into a bowl & add all the above mentioned ingredients except the oil into the florets.

  3. Mix everything very well & then fry them into the hot oil.

  4. When they are golden brown remove them from the oil, drain the excess oil by using the absorbent paper towel & then serve them with the ketchup and chutney of your choice.
