This is a traditional, one-pot recipe that's simple, easy-to make, and gives the most flavorful results! Aloo Keema is a popular Pakistani & North Indian dish consisting of curried, minced meat (keema) and potatoes (aloo).

Made in the instant pot or stovetop, it is a one-pot dish that's easy to make.

Simple minced curry with potatoes, also known as Keema Aloo, is the perfect weeknight Indian Meal.

The warm curry spices add an exotic flair to a very simple dish of ground meat and potatoes.

You can cook Keema aloo using 19 ingredients and 4 steps. Here is how you achieve that.

Ingredients of Keema aloo

  1. Prepare of mutton mince.

  2. You need of oil.

  3. It’s of bay leaf.

  4. It’s of cinnamon.

  5. You need of green cardamoms.

  6. Prepare of cloves.

  7. You need of onions sliced.

  8. Prepare of ginger garlic paste.

  9. You need of medium size tomatoes chopped finely.

  10. You need of chilli powder.

  11. You need of Haldi powder.

Aloo Keema is a delicious and classic Pakistani recipe made with minced (ground) meat and potatoes.

It's usually served with roti, but is also super yummy with rice and a side of simple Kachumbar Salad and Cucumber Raita.

Not plain keema or matar keema or piyaaz keema.

Keema aloo instructions

  1. Wash the mince and keep it in a strainer. Heat oil in a pressure cooker add bay leaf, green cardamom, cinnamon and cloves when it leaves aroma add sliced onions fry till golden brown..

  2. Add the strained mince cook till colour changes, add ginger garlic paste cook for a min add haldi powder, coriander powder, jeera powder, kitchen king masala and cook for 5 to 10 mins..

  3. Add chopped tomatoes, meat masala, Kasuri methi and salt stir fry for few mins and cook till 2 whistles..

  4. When the pressure releases add the potatoes little water if to dry and cook for 1 whistle or till potatoes are done. Garnish with coriander leaves..

What I love love is aloo keema.

I know this entire recipe can be made with matar (aka peas) but it just won't be the same till there's at least one potato in it!
