Recipe: Yummy Tricia's Soda Bread Delicious, fresh and tasty.

Tricia's Soda Bread. Tricia, this soda bread reminds me of making soda bread with my first graders for St. It looks like a great recipe. Pinning! reply to this comment > Tricia Buice says.

I used white whole wheat flour and sugar in the raw in the same measurements as in the original recipe.

I did not put the dough in a round pan based on the comments from another rater who said it is too much dough for the pan.

Love soda bread and yours looks perfect, Tricia.

Baking soda leavens the bread, so there's no waiting for the bread to rise.

The caraway and raisins add sweetness and flavor, but they can be left out or substituted for other dried fruit and herbs.

Once the bread is baked, serve it up with a generous mound of Kerrygold butter!

Remove the lid and sprinkle the cheese in the center of the loaf.

Make a well in the center, and pour in the buttermilk, stirring just until incorporated.
