It’s 1 cup of brown sugar.

Prepare 3/4 cup of ketchup.

You need 1/3 cup of cooking sherry (chicken broth).

You need 1 1/2 teaspoon of garlic mince.

It’s 1/2 teaspoon of ginger root (more if you like a bit to it).
How to Make Huli Huli Chicken and Marinade.
Mix marinade ingredients: In a medium mixing bowl whisk together ketchup, soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sriracha, Worcestershire, sesame oil, garlic and ginger.
Pour marinade over chicken: Place chicken in a medium bowl or gallon size resealable bag. "Huli" means "turn" in Hawaiian, and refers to the traditional method of cooking this with a grilling basket, turning it over hot coals.
