Preheat a kadai or any deep pan add two cups salt and spread it around put a stand over it & heat on medium flame for 10 minutes.

In a bowl, add semolina, all purpose flour, gram flour, powdered sugar, baking soda, cardamom powder and mix it together.

Add melted butter and make a soft dough using your hand The dough is now ready.

Take a plate and grease it with butter - Take a portion of dough and make round shape balls - Press a little in between and keep it in a plate - In a similar make all the round shape balls - Top each with dry fruit of your choice - The cookies are ready to bake.

To bake place the plate in the pre heated kadai, cover it and let it bake for 30 - 35 miinutes - Check after 30 minutes - If the cookies are baked - The cookies are ready - let it cool for sometime.
