  1. It’s 1 cup of chopped Ajwain leaves.

  2. It’s 1 of onion finely sliced.

  3. Prepare 1/2 cup of Besan or gram flour.

  4. You need 2 of chopped green chillies.

  5. It’s 1 tbsp of rice flour.

  6. You need 1 TSP of chilli flakes.

  7. Prepare 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder.

  8. Prepare 1/2 tsp of baking soda.

  9. You need to taste of Salt.

  10. It’s as needed of Oil for frying.

  11. It’s as needed of Water.

Combine the onion, chilly powder, cumin seeds powder, coriander powder and ajwain.

Heat half tbsp of oil in a frying pan.

Add this onion mixture and saute till the onions turn translucent.

Remove from the flame and allow it to cool.

  1. To prepare batter mix all the ingredients together and mix well..

  2. Add 1tsp hot oil to the batter and mix well.The mixture must be tight but not too dry..

  3. Heat oil in a pan deep fry pakodas till golden brown and crispy..

  4. Now pakodas are ready to serve..

  5. Sprinkle some chat masala on the top and serve hot..

Once the onion mixture cools, add roasted besan and salt to it. mix well till they combine well.
