Ingredients of Egg curry

  1. You need 4 of boiled egg.

  2. Prepare 3 tsp of curd.

  3. Prepare 1 tsp of lemon juice.

  4. You need 1 of bay leaf.

  5. It’s 1 of cinnamon stick.

  6. It’s 2 of cloves.

  7. Prepare 2 of cardamoms.

  8. Prepare For of gravy-.

  9. It’s 4 tsp of oil (preferably mustard oil).

  10. Prepare 2 of medium sized oninon.

  11. You need 3 of medium tomatoes.

  12. It’s 2 of Green chillies.

  13. You need 1 spoon of ginger garlic paste.

  14. You need 1/2 tsp of haldi and red chilli powder.

  15. Prepare 2 tsp of dhaniya powder.

  16. Prepare 1 tsp of biryani masala.

  17. It’s As required of Kasoori methi.

  18. It’s 1/2 tsp of garam masala.

  19. It’s to taste of Salt according.

  20. It’s as required of Coriander leaves for garnishing.

To make egg curry, firstly whole spices are tempered in oil and then the onions are fried in the oil until golden.

Then the ginger garlic paste is sauteed to bring out the aroma.

Egg curry instructions

  1. Marinate boiled egg in curd alongwith lemon juice.let it rest for 15 minutes..

  2. Make a paste of onion, tomato and chilli..

  3. Heat oil in a kadhai and fry the marinated eggs and keep it aside.In the same oil put bay leaf, clove, cardamom,and cinnamon for a sec and then add the onion tomato paste..

  4. When the paste starts leaving the Kadai add salt, haldi and red chilli powder,dhaniya powder,biryani masala to it.fry for more 5 minutes..

  5. Now add eggs to it and saute with the masala, finally add water according to thickness you want. cover it and let it boil for 10 mins..

  6. Finally add kashuri methi and garam masala and serve it hot with chapati or rice.Top it up with coriander leaves..

Later tomatoes are cooked until they break down.

Then salt & spice powders are added to it.

Kerala Egg Curry or Mutta Curry is a spicy egg curry made in Kerala style.

It can be made with or without coconut milk.
