  2. Add salt,sugar and warm water to the batter and set aside for few minutes. The consistency should be a lill runny..

  3. Heat a kadai/wok on high flame,grease some oil. Now pour in a ladle of batter.Once you see small holes in the batter,reduce flame to low and immediately cover the kadai/wok with its lid..

  4. Add lil(2-3 spoon) water to the sides of lid and cook for 3 mins on low flame. The Pitha gets cooked in steam and is cooked one side only(no need to flip the other side)..

  5. Remove the lid,carefully take out the chittau Pitha. let it cool for sometime. Enjoy this super soft and fluffy Pitha with milk or Curry of your choice..
