Wash Urad dal,rice and soak them with enough water separately. Add methi seeds also in the urad dal.Soak them for 4 to 5 hours..

Before grinding just soak poha for 15 to 20minutes.Grind the Urad dal first in wet grinder.. While it is half grinded add soaked,drained poha to it and grind it..

After it is finely grinded, transfer this to a big vessel. Now add rice to the grinder and grind it to a smooth paste. Transfer it to the same big vessel and add salt. Mix well and allow it to ferment for 8 to 10 hours..

Once the batter is fermented the volume of the batter will be increased. This is perfect set dosa batter..

Now heat the dosa tawa.I have used a thick cast iron tawa. Grease it with little oil,after that add a ladle full of set dosa batter at the centre forming 4 to 5 inches circle. No need to spread it. It will be spread by itself. After few seconds you will see pores on the dosa. Flip it to other side and cook it..
