I missed the ladi pav that we would get in Mumbai and so had to try making them at home.
They are soft to eat with a light texture.

Prepare 3 cup of maida/All purpose flour.

You need 1 cup of milk.

It’s 1/2 tsp of sugar.

It’s 1 tsp of yeast.

Prepare 1/2 tsp of salt.

You need 1 tsp of oil.
It can be prepared without much of efforts.
Laadi Pav is the small round rolls of soft and smooth white bread.

In a bowl add yeast, lukewarm milk and sugar and set it aside for 15 min..

When yeast liquid is activated than add maida, salt and 1 tsp butter and knead a soft dough..

Apply oil on the dough and cover with a lid and set aside for 1 hour..

When dough doubled in size than punch the dough and knead it again..

Now divide the dough in parts and make bolls of it..

Grease the baking tray and place the bolls on the tray and keep some distance between dough bolls..

Now keep aside the dough boll for another 1 hour..

When it doubled in size bake the dough bolls on 200C for 20 min..

Remove the tray and apply butter on paav..

Paav are ready now..
These pav have been popularised by the Indian street food recipes such as pav bhaji, vada pav, samosa pav, kachchhi dabeli or even egg burji pav.
I personally enjoy baking these beauties when I make Pav Bhaji or Misal Pav.
