Potato 65. Ever since I had that, I felt the urge to prepare it for you all. But the long list of requests kept this one waiting. A quick online search will not solve the mystery of how exactly this dish got it's name.
Here fried crispy potatoes are cooked with Hyderabadi flavor and spices.
It's a great starter to serve and are best accompanied with any type of rice.

Ingredients of Potato 65

It’s 4-5 of Potatoes, cubed.

Prepare 1 of big cubed capsicum.

You need 1 of big chopped onions.

It’s 1 tsp of Red chilli powder.

Prepare 1 tsp of Coriander powder.

It’s 1 tsp of garam masala.

It’s 1/2 tsp of maggi masala magic.

Prepare 3-4 of chopped garlic.

It’s 1 tsp of grated ginger.

It’s 2 of silted chillies.

It’s 1 1/2 tbsp of maida flour.

Prepare 1 1/2 tbsp of corn flour.

You need 1 cup of yoghurt.

You need pinch of Red food color.

It’s 1 tsp of red chilli sauce.

Prepare 1 tsp of soy sauce.

It’s 1 tsp of tomato ketchup.

You need as required of Salt.

Deep fried snacks are quite addictive and this is no exception.
In this recipe, the cooked potatoes are mixed with a spicy mixture consisting of coriander pwd, red chilly pwd & ginger garlic paste.
It tastes lipsmacking, when they're hot & crunchy.
Potato 65 instructions

Wash and cut them in cubes, cook them until its three fourth done..

Now in a mixing bowl add maida, corn flour and salt as per taste and coat them well..

Now heat oil in a pan, add coated potato to oil, fry in medium flame until they turn golden brown in colour..

Now take 2 tbsp oil in pan add chopped ginger, garlic and stilted/ chopped green chillies and saute till you get the aroma, then add chopped onions and capsicum and cook for 1 min..

Now add dry masala as coriander powder, red chilli powder, magic Masala, garam masala,red food color(optional), salt..

And then add soy sauce, red chilli sauce, tomato ketchup and mix well..

You can add yoghurt to it to make a thick paste or a corn flour in a water mixture to make it thick..

Allow the mixture to boil and once the gravy turns dry add fried potatoes just before serving otherwise they will get soggy because of heat..

Garnish it with some freshly chopped coriander leaves, or mint leaves..

Serve aloo 65/ potato 65 with some green chutney..
It serves as an excellent starter snack and everybody loves to have.!
