Ingredients of Spinach and cheese paratha

  1. Prepare 3 cubes of Processed cheese.

  2. It’s 250 gms of Chopped spinach.

  3. It’s 2 cup of Wheat flour.

  4. It’s 1 inch stick of Grated ginger.

  5. You need 2 tsp of Curd.

  6. It’s 1/4 tsp of Chopped green chilli.

  7. Prepare 1 pinch of Carom seeds.

  8. It’s 4 tbsp of Clarified butter.

  9. Prepare 1 pinch of Cumin seeds.

  10. Prepare to taste of Salt.

Seal it from all sides and press lightly to make a small round ball.

Now roll out this ball into a paratha of ¼ cm thickness.

Start baking this paratha on the griddle.

Then apply some ghee or butter to both sides.

Spinach and cheese paratha step by step

  1. Grate the cheese..

  2. Wash and chop spinach and blanch it..

  3. Once cooled,take a blender make a paste..

  4. In a kneading bowl,mix wheat flour,spinach,curd,carom seeds onion seeds,one tbsp clarified butter and salt..

  5. Make a soft dough with the help of little water..

  6. Keep aside for 15 mins..

  7. Divide the dough into balls and roll out,spread the grated cheese and cover with other chapati and roll out.

  8. On a heated pan,make parathas applying clarified butter both the sides.

  9. Once both the sides are cooked and golden brown in colour..

  10. Serve hot..

They are very popular for their unique green color paratha made from spinach and stuffed with creamy cheese.
