Ingredients of Tooti frooti cake

Prepare 1 1/2 cup of all purpose flour/ maida.

Measure milk in a bowl I used room temperature milk..

Add lemon juice and vinegar to the milk, stir well and keep it aside..

Place a sieve over a mixing bowl..

Measure flour and add it to the sieve..

Add baking powder, baking soda, salt to the sieve..

Make a well in the center & keep this aside.

Make batter for cake-. To the milk bowl add vanilla extract, sugar..

Pour melted butter/ oil, mix well untill the sugar get dissolved..

Pour this to the flour..

Mix well untill the flour combined well in clockwise direction, do not over mix..

Make sure the batter should be of ribbon consistently at this stage..

Add tooti fruity and gently mix..

Further, transfer the cake batter into the cake mould or bread mould (width: 12 cm, height: 6 cm, length: 26 cm). make sure to grease the mould with butter to avoid sticking and line butter paper at bottom of tray..

Level up the batter and pat the tray twice to remove the air incorporated into the batter..

Place the cake tray into preheated oven. bake the cake at 180 degree celsius or 356 degree fahrenheit for 30-40 minutes..
