Ingredients of Chocolate paan balls

  1. It’s 1 cup of dessicated coconut.

  2. You need 1/2 cup of condensed milk.

  3. You need 5 of beetel leaves (paan patta).

  4. You need 1 tsp of cardomom powder.

  5. It’s 1/2 tbsp of ghee.

  6. You need 2 tbsp of flavored saunf optional.

  7. You need 4 tbsp of chopped nuts.

  8. You need 4 tablespoons of gulkand.

  9. You need As needed of coconut powder for rolling.

  10. You need As needed of green food colour optional.

  11. Prepare 400 gms of chocolate milk/dark.

  7. Roll into a ball shape. Then roll in the desiccated coconut. Set aside. If you stay at a place with warm temp. Keep them in refrigerator for 10-15 mins..

  8. Chop the chocolate..

  9. Melt with either microwave or double boiler method..

  10. Roll the paan balls in melted chocolate with help of skewer and tap the excess off..

  11. Let it sit for 5mins or until chocolate sets..

  12. Store in an airtight container. Serve and enjoy..

Place a paan leaf on a working surface and add ¼ of the gulkand on top of the leaf followed by cherry, coconut and saunf.

Letting the paan leaves steep in the cream for too long will give too strong a flavour.

If your ganache doesn't set, freeze for an hour or so.
