It’s 3/4 cup of gram flour /besan.

It’s 1 tbsp of maida/All purpose flour.

Prepare 1/4 tsp of Roasted and crushed jeera/cumin seeds.

You need As needed of Coconut oil for frying.

Slit the plantains into long and thin pieces and cut each pieces into two… If you want you can keep it long… I like it small…..

Make a batter adding besan and maida adding 3/4-1cup water…. Make sure there is no lumps add salt and crushed jeera… You can add cardamom powder instead of roasted and crushed jeera.

Tip in all the plantain pieces into the batter and coat each slices with the batter….

Heat oil for deep frying and when hot drop the plantain pieces and fry till golden yellow colour… ready to serve..
