Masala maggi. This Masala Maggi recipe is a mixture of all the recipes I have tried over the years. My wife calls it the best Maggi ever and I want to sound humble, but trust me, this recipe is pretty incredible. I also call it the Ulta Maggi (Reverse Maggi).

This Mumbai Street Style Veg Masala Maggi recipe is a new way to add colorful vegetables and few spices to the regular maggi recipe and make it into a healthy dish.

Vegetable Masala Maggi is a quick & easy Indian snack made by tossing maggi noodles along with mixed vegetables and spices.

This variation of maggi noodles is healthy and a tasty twist to the simple & plain version due to nutritive value of fresh vegetables added to this dish.

You can cook Masala maggi using 13 ingredients and 13 steps. Here is how you achieve it.

Ingredients of Masala maggi

  1. It’s 4 of maggi.

  2. Prepare 1 tbsp of oil.

  3. You need 1/2 tsp of mustard seeds (rai).

  4. You need 1 of green chilli chopped.

  5. You need 1 of medium onion chopped.

  6. You need 1 of medium tomato chopped.

  7. You need 1/2 cup of green peas.

  8. Prepare 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder.

  9. Prepare To taste of salt.

  10. Prepare As needed of tomato ketchup.

  11. You need 6 cup of water.

  12. Prepare 1 tbsp of salted butter.

  13. It’s 1/2 Cup of semi boiled veggies- corn, bell peppers, broccoli etc.

Maggi Masala with vegetables like peas, bell peppers (Capsicum) and others tastes pretty good.

Masala maggi step by step

  1. Heat a tbsp of oil in a pan on a low flame..

  2. Add 0.5 tbsp of mustard seeds to the oil. Let the mustard seeds crackle..

  3. Add chopped green chillies to the oil. Stir fry for half a minute..

  4. Add chopped onion. Let the onions fry on a medium flame until they turn translucent..

  5. Add a half cup of frozen green peas. Stir fry until half - cooked..

  6. Add the chopped tomatoes. Cook until it turns soft..

  7. Add a pinch of salt and red chilli powder to the veggies..

  8. Add all 4 maggi magic tastemaker packets to the veggie. Mix well..

  9. Add 2 tbsp of ketchup. Mix well. Cook for half a minute..

  10. Break the maggi noodle cakes into sizes of your liking and add it to the pan. Roast the maggi for a half minute..

  11. Add water to this mixture. I am using 6 cups of water since. i like to keep the maggi dry. You can add more water if you like the noodles a little watery..

  12. Let the noodles cook well. You dont want the noodles be too mushy or crunchy. Add a tbsp of butter on top..

  13. Serve hot. Optionally you can also sprinkle some grated cheese on top..

You can pretty much any vegetable that you like.

People even add Omelette, Corns and Mushrooms.
